Although Gracie is fast approaching week 12 of life outside the womb, Gracie does not think she is a baby. The picture above personifies her character the best. She hates BEING a baby. So she is working her hardest to overcome that. One example is how much she dislikes being held like an infant. Gracie is not happy unless she is sitting up like a big girl, or standing (with daddy's help). Some of the things she likes to do is dance. I regularly come home to my wife and daughter dancing around the room to the late Michael Jackson's greatest hits. She genuinely enjoys the excitment and thrill of twirling, and bouncing, as told by the huge smile on her face. She also loves being outside. She can SIT (heaven forbid we hold her) for hours straight watching people, animals, and yes, TREES. Gracie loves trees. She will actually smile at them as they blow in the wind. She also enjoys conversation with those who are around. She is thrilled when people look at her and talk, and loves to respond and sometimes even yell her opinions.

Before I published this post Gracie had her first big laugh!
